Vital Child is committed to providing quality services to you and this policy outlines our ongoing obligations to you in respect of how we manage your Personal Information.
This Privacy Statement explains our policy for handling personal information which you may provide to us when you access and interact with our website or seek the services of Jayne Larkins, Naturopath and/or Vital Child.
Personal Information and How We Use It
Personal Information may be obtained from online bookings, questionnaires, intake forms, consultations, by telephone, email or via our website www.vitalchild.com.au. Personal Information includes your name, DOB, address, email, phone and/or Skype details as required for consultation purposes and to contact you about relevant health information or Vital Child services.
You will receive email newsletters which you may opt out of at any time by clicking the ‘Unsubscribe’ button in any email received or by replying to email@example.com.
Your email address will only be used to send information from Jayne Larkins and/or Vital Child.
Our online booking system, Cliniko, stores personal data in cloud storage using their secure servers. This data includes your personal information, health files and treatment notes collected through your consultations.
Your Personal Information will not be shared or sold to any third parties at any time.
When visitors leave comments on the site we collect the data shown in the comments form, and also the visitor’s IP address and browser user agent string to help spam detection.
If you leave a comment on our site you may opt-in to saving your name, email address and website in cookies. These are for your convenience so that you do not have to fill in your details again when you leave another comment. These cookies will last for one year.
If you have an account and you log in to this site, we will set a temporary cookie to determine if your browser accepts cookies. This cookie contains no personal data and is discarded when you close your browser.
Links to other websites
Our website may contain links to websites which are owned or operated by third parties independent of Vital Child including websites owned or operated by our service providers. Those websites should contain their own privacy statements, and their owners or operators are responsible for informing you about their security and privacy practices. We are not responsible for information on, or the privacy practices of, such websites.
Embedded content from other websites
Articles on this site may include embedded content (e.g. videos, images, articles, etc.). Embedded content from other websites behaves in the exact same way as if the visitor has visited the other website.
If you leave a comment, the comment and its metadata are retained indefinitely. This is so we can recognize and approve any follow-up comments automatically instead of holding them in a moderation queue.
For users that register on our website (if any), we also store the personal information they provide in their user profile. All users can see, edit, or delete their personal information at any time (except they cannot change their username). Website administrators can also see and edit that information.
What rights you have over your data
You can request to receive an exported file of the personal data we hold about you, including any data you have provided to us. You can also request that we erase any personal data we hold about you. This does not include any data we are obliged to keep for administrative, legal, or security purposes. Personal information in client files will be kept by us for a minimum of 7 years.
In order to protect your Personal Information we may require identification from you before releasing the requested information.
